This Privacy Policy details our transparent policies regarding the collection, processing, protection, and retention of personal and educational data across our platform.

This policy applies to all users accessing our services, including students, parents, guardians, teachers, school administrators, and verified mentors across the web application, APIs, diagnostic tools, and associated client interfaces. By registering for, accessing, or using VEDHKRIT, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

We strictly collect information necessary to deliver personalized academic development, diagnostic assessments, and platform security.

VEDHKRIT utilizes cookies and standard web storage mechanisms (localStorage and sessionStorage) exclusively for operational security, authentication, and preserving user interface preferences.

• To provide, personalize, and administer the VEDHKRIT platform, student portfolios, and mentor dashboards.
• To score diagnostic assessments and generate academic and skill baseline reports according to the Integrated Learner Development Framework (ILDF).
• To enable parents to monitor their child’s verified academic development, milestone achievements, and mentor recommendations.
• To facilitate authorized 1:1 expert mentor interactions and experiential projects in our Smart Learning & Enterprise Center (SLEC) studios.
• To deliver critical transactional notifications, OTP security verifications, attendance summaries, and password recovery communications.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent academic fraud, unauthorized system access, and security breaches.

VEDHKRIT incorporates an AI-powered academic assistant and Socratic counselor known as VEDA, powered via secure server-to-server integration with Google Gemini APIs through our backend AIGatewayService.

We partner with vetted infrastructure and communications service providers who process data strictly under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:

Pricing tiers, institutional packages, and student memberships presented on the website are billed through certified third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay or Stripe).

Zero Financial Credential Storage: VEDHKRIT does not capture, store, or process complete credit card numbers, debit card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or bank account credentials. All payment authorizations occur directly within the secure, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure of our payment gateway partners.

VEDHKRIT is purposefully designed for school and college learners. Protecting young learners is our highest priority:

• Students under 18 years of age access the platform under parental supervision or institutional school enrollment agreements.
• We do not condition a student’s participation in learning activities on the disclosure of more personal information than is reasonably necessary.
• Parents and legal guardians have the right to inspect their child’s assessment records, mentor session notes, and profile data by linking their account or contacting support.
• Student profiles are never made publicly search-engine indexable or monetized for commercial advertising.

When student accounts are provisioned by an educational institution (school, college, or institute), the institution acts as the data controller for roster data, and VEDHKRIT processes student records under the institutional service agreement.

Parents who link to their child’s student account receive direct visibility into academic progress, mentor notes, attendance, and assessment analytics through their dedicated Parent Portal dashboard.

We implement robust technical and operational security controls designed to safeguard educational data:

• Encryption in Transit: All web traffic and API endpoints strictly require HTTPS/TLS 1.3 encryption.
• Cryptographic Password Security: Passwords are salted and hashed using bcrypt before database persistence; plain text passwords are never stored.
• Access Control: Granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Permission-Based Access Control (PBAC) isolate student, mentor, parent, and institutional administrative data.
• Audit Logging: Security-sensitive actions (such as logins, OTP challenges, and record modifications) generate immutable audit records.

We retain personal information for the duration necessary to fulfill the educational purposes for which it was collected, support ongoing student academic records, or comply with institutional school contracts and legal obligations.

Account & Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal records at any time through your account settings or by submitting a written request to info@vedhkrit.com. Upon verification, we will permanently remove or anonymize your personal records, subject to legally required institutional audit retentions.

Regardless of your location, VEDHKRIT provides users with the following rights over their personal information:

• Right to Access: View and export your profile and assessment history.
• Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate biographical details through profile settings.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Opt out of non-essential communications and promotional emails.
• Right to Deletion: Request the erasure of your personal data when no longer required.
